Who Or What Is God?

What or Who is God?
What is God? Throughout this project, pondering through many different perspectives was essential in looking for a concrete answer to this question. But the thing is, when avariety of people are asked this question, there is never a concrete answer. When looking for a formal definition of what or who God is, there were two major definitions. The first comes from actualbelievers of God, especially the ones from Christianity and other monotheistic religions. These people believe that God is the creator or ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority, theybelieve that God is a Supreme Being, understood as Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, and Principle. Nonbelievers of God, on the other hand, claim that God is an idea created by human kind as a way toexplain what cannot be explained.
When going into depth of how believers of God view this question, not everyone agrees to the same answer either. This is where religion comes into the picture,and because it is impossible to go over every existing religion in the world, we have decided to discuss only the major ones. In Christianity, which we all know of, it is believed in God within theconcept of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holly Spirit. Christians believe Jesus was sent to the world as the Son of God. The Islam religion, on the other hand, testify that there is no God butAllah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; they do not believe in Jesus as the son of God. The oldest religion known is Judaism, in which it is believed the same concept of God being theSupreme Being, yet it is not believed that Jesus is the son of God either. Jews do not accept Jesus as a prophet or Messiah, due to the fact that they believe he did not fulfill distinct biblicalprophecies.
