Why is education important
Being educated is an enlightening experience. I believe education is no longer a privilege but something necessary for oureveryday living. It opens a thousand doors to our futures, and it let us take advantage of the opportunities life itself gives us.
Learning opens our eyes toeverything around us, not only speaking economically, which it obviously affects with the jobs we could get in the future, but culturally. A conversation withan educated person will always be a lot more interesting, and approachable, since books, magazines, articles, teachers, etc open a whole world that’s out therewaiting to be discovered by us: and what better way that understanding everything that surrounds us.
Another reason why education is so important is thatthere is no possible way of helping people without a proper education to do it. With a proper education you are able to perceive accurately, think clearly andact effectively to achieve self-selected goals and aspirations.
Did you know that a girl or boy that completes at least primary has 50% less chance ofgetting AIDS/HIV? And they will earn twice as much than a girl or boy who doesn’t. For this and a thousand reasons more I strongly believe education is the biggestgift we can get, since it will never fade away, get lost, or end. It’s something we will be using and enhancing every day, and not only in our life, but thelife of everyone around us.
“The one real object of education is to leave a man in the condition of continually asking questions.” ~Bishop Creighton.
