Winchester mystery house
is a well-known mansion in Northern California. This is a mystery house because many believe the house have many spirits.
I'll tell the story of this house:
TheWinchester House was built by Sarah Winchester, the wife of the owner of the Winchester Repeating Rifle fortune. She was obsessed with the spirit world, and believed that the spirits of those killed by theWinchester rifles had taken the life of her husband and her child.
So for Sarah not being gotten she started building a house for 38 years without stopping until her death, because, if the house wasnever finished the ghosts couldn't get in it.
After directing the continued construction of the mansion for 39 years, Sarah died in her sleep at the age of 82. Many strange events have occurred overthe years and continue to be reported today. The psychics have visited the house and believe that many spirits roam it, along with the ghost of Sarah Winchester!
Actually is a touristic place wherethere have been many meetings and events including unusual steps, slamming doors and strange voices …
But what is the mystery of this place?
It has 160 rooms, a window built into the interior of thefloor, staircases leading nowhere, a chimney that rises four floors, doors that open to reveal only a blank wall, pillars backwards. No one has been able to explain the mysteries that still now existin the Winchester mansion.
Sarah Winchester invested his inheritance of more than 20,000,000 million dollars to build the house, her only obsession, and so achieve eternal peace and appease the evilspirits.
Also appearing during the course an obsession with the number 13: there are 13 bathrooms, all drains had 13 holes, many windows are composed of 13 panels, the floor of the entrance is dividedinto 13 sectors, and in Sarah's bedroom there is a cabinet with 13 hooks which hung 13 dresses. 13 glass domes and staircases of 13 steps…
