Woman a Gift Of God

WOMAN, GIFT OF GOD AND COMPANION TO THE MAN (HUMAN COUPLE)

Thesis: In a society where the woman has been considering as a possessionobject, and dominated by men. I am going to defend the women as a gift of God and a good companion to the man. In order to talk about the woman as agreat gift of God, I am going to talk about the creation of the first human couple in this world, using different reading of the book of Genesisand other biblical reading.
I. It’s not good for man to be alone (Gen 2, 18ss). Woman companion of man. 3 important things:
a) Man andwoman were made of the same nature.
b) Man and woman were created with sexual dimension and Genital.
c) Differences of man and woman.II. Why God created “man and woman”
a) Union of love (Gen 2, 24)
b) Procreation (Gen 1, 28) / Motherhood
III. Characteristics andreligious ideal of the matrimony in this couple.
Conclusion: woman and man was created of the same nature. The man is between God and theworld. Over the man, God. Under man, the whole creation. There is only one creature that God didn’t give possession to the man, it was the woman;because she also is image of God. The only one that has possession over the man and woman is God, no the man.
