WORLD HISTORY
3rd. PERIOD PROJECT
(Magazine Article)
“The Person of the Age”
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Choose one person (male o female) from the different time periods you have learned in class(from the Antiquity to the beginning of the Modern Age) that you consider him or her extremely relevant or important to his/her time.
2. Make a research about that person’s life. You may want tolook for information on the Internet or in History books.
3. Write a magazine article about that person.
On the first part of the article you have to talk about her/his life: when and where didthat person live; what did that person do in her/his lifetime; most important achievements/inventions/discoveries/missions/contributions, etc.
On the second part of the article you must EXPLAINwhy YOU consider him/her the “Person of the Age”. You must explain why you consider her/his achievements/discoveries/inventions/contributions/missions, etc. so important or relevant to History.Remember you have to use arguments to justify your opinion (why did you choose that person).
The project must have a magazine cover and the article.
Follow the Methodological Manual (Arial 12, 1.5line spacing, justified)
Follow the Class Rules. (Recycled paper or printed on both sides)
Minimum: 300 words / Maximum: 350 words
NO Wikipedia.
In pairs or teams of 3.

Realmente, y salvo en la Prehistoria, no se pinta de manera directa sobre la pared, sino sobre una fina capa intermedia. La principal técnicaempleada a lo largo de los siglos para la pintura mural es el fresco. La superficie a pintar se prepara con varias capas de revoco: primero un enlucido basto, el arriccio, y luego una capa más delgada dearena fina y cal, que recibe el nombre de intonaco. Sobre la pared todavía húmeda se aplica entonces el pigmento disuelto en agua de cal.
