There is nothing that we as individuals can do to prevent climate change
Nowadays the climate change is a real and very dangerous situation. It is injuring ecosystems and place of living of manypeople. The temperature is rising and it is generating a global warming of the earth. The atmosphere is being polluted due to the carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse gases. There are many examples ofthe climate change. The most important are stormy weather and natural catastrophes such as hurricanes, tsunamis, tornados, earthquakes, floods,…In most cases the human behavior is the main cause ofclimate change. If we continue behaving as before it will be faster in the future. So I disagree with the title of the composition. In my opinion, there are a lot of little things that we can do asindividuals to prevent climate change. The international agreements are important but they will not be effective if we do not act.
We can contribute a lot in our daily life. We must choose an energymodel based on renewable energies and we must save energy and make it a sustainable use.
Firstly, there are several things we can do at home. In the kitchen, for example, we should have an efficientelectrical consumption refrigerate. We do not need a big one if we are not going to fill it completely. In the bathroom, we must get used to have a quick shower because heating water we spend a lotof energy. On the other hand, we must prevent misuse the air conditioning. We find on this the more effective save of energy.
Secondly, we should become get used to travel by public transport. Trainsand buses are three times more efficient than private cars. Urban train will be the most efficient transport in the future due to the fact it will works by renewable energy. On the other hand, usingthe bicycle or going by walk we contribute on not carbon dioxide emissions whereas using own cars.
