Aquí comienza tu curso nivel principiante. Relájate y concéntrate en leer estas breves explicaciones de Mr. Grammar.
1) El artículo THE /de/ tiene cuatro traducciones en español: EL, LA, LOS y LAS. (En esta lección utilizarás sólo las dosprimeras traducciones). Observa estos ejemplos:
THE (EL)
The dog.
El perro.
THE (LA)
The pen.
La lapicera.
2) El pronombre demostrativo THIS /dis/ tiene tres traducciones en español: ESTO, ESTE y ESTA. Observa estos ejemplos:
THIS (ESTO)
This is America.
Esto es América.
THIS (ESTE)
This is Roberto.
Este es Roberto.
THIS (ESTA)
This is Mariana.
Esta es Mariana.Para formar preguntas simplemente coloca el verbo IS delante deTHIS, de esta forma: Is this America?, Is this Roberto? o Is this Mariana? Ten en cuenta que en inglés se usa únicamente el signo de interrogación final o de cierre (?).
Ahora lee estos textos y sus traducciones. Escucha con atención los audios y trata de imitarlos, repitiéndolos en voz alta. Lee en voz altaalgunas partes del texto (resaltadas en color) que no se encuentran en el audio.
