Can I have a mentor that is not in my location or country?

You are not limited to choosing only mentors that are based in the same location that you are, as you can still benefitfrom a long distance mentoring relationship.

Can I continue the relationship for longer than 6 months?

Yes, by mutual agreement you may continue your mentorship for longer than 6 months.What do I do if my mentor/mentee leaves the company?

If your mentor leaves the company before completing the 6 month mentorship you may wish to contact an alternative mentor. If your mentee leavesthe company, you should go back into your mentor profile and indicate that you are available to be a mentor for someone else.

How many mentors can I have?

Employees should work with one mentorat any one time.  We have a limited number of mentors and will give priority to employees who have not been previously mentored under this offering.

How many mentees can I have?

Mentors shouldwork with one mentee at any one time to ensure you are able to maximize the attention and dedication you are able to give to your mentee.

How do I decline a mentor request?

Mentorship requestswill be made either in person, by phone, or via email. As a mentor you are not obliged to accept a mentee’s request for mentorship. You may choose to decline a request if they feel that they are anunsuitable match for the individual or unable to assist with the development required. However you should give the request due consideration and consider the feelings of the employee should you chooseto decline.

What do I do if I can no longer be a mentor or a mentee?

If you are no longer able to be a mentor or a mentee, you should access the database and mark yourself as unavailable orunmatched.
