The Call for Papers for World Heavy Oil Congress 2011 is now open.
Technologies for the Heavy Oil Industry
World Heavy Oil Congress is the premier international technical and business conference focused strictly on the global heavy oil industry. Launched in Beijing, China in 2006, global leaders in heavy oil have since convened at the Congress in Edmonton, Canada in 2008 and in Margarita Island, Venezuela in 2009 where 700 delegates participated from nearly 30 countries. The industry will come together in Edmonton, Canada for the 2011 Congress, where 120 papers will be presented, and again in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2012. The international technical program committee is pleased to invite you to submit paper proposals and offers the following list of session themes as a general guideline. Submissions not fitting into this list, but relevant to the general topic of unconventional oil development, are also welcome and will be given full consideration for inclusion in the program. Case studies, field tests and pilot results are most welcome.
