CELL PHONES,
GOOD OR BAD?
Cell phones are used by everybody. They're used for many things, such as, music, chatting, playing games, internet and many other things. If you have a cellphone you are guaranteed to have a lot of communication. However, they can be really addictive.
On the one hand, cell phones are really useful. They can be used for different occasions, for example, whenyou are lost you can have many applications that may help you, like a GPS or a map. You can call someone when you have a problem or when you need transport. Moreover, you can even use your cell phoneto order food, to call the police or an ambulance. Furthermore, you have access to Internet and different applications like games, social networks and other kind of things that can entertain you whenyou're bored. Despites, if you are hungry and you have nothing to eat, you can order food at any time.
On the other hand, many studies have shown that the fear of being apart from your cell phonehas grown. A 75% of the people in the world have a cell phone and a 48% of them have addiction problems. Besides, since it's a really expensive electronic device, cell phones can attract smugglers'attention and desire to take it away from you. In addition, cell phones are used to hurt other people's feelings by cyber-bullying them. Bullies have been around forever, but cell phones have given them awhole new way to harass. Also, cell phones are not healthy. Mobile phones are believed by some people to give out radioactive waves that can cause brain tumors or damage our ears. Added to this, theycan be lost since they're quite small. Equally, using a mobile phone can be expensive because we need to pay roaming costs. Similarly, this may affect the students at school as they may play gamesand send messages during lessons. Taking this into account, mobile phones can also cause a lot of problems such as cheating in tests, as it is now easy for students to access the Internet at any time....
