A Day In The Life
My day starts when I wake up, and I don’t need an alarm, I do it whenever I want. I don’t need to wake up early, which is something I hate, because my working day begins at 03.00 p.m. so I let myself sleep until I’m no longer tired. Usually at 10.00 a.m. I´m out of bed and I have breakfast with my dogs, Slack and Pie. After thatI have a shower, watch TV, go to the gym or cook something for lunch and then eat it with my two little friends.
The Theater is my work place, is my second house, and it’s just fourblocks away from my apartment, so there’s no need to use the car, my legs are enough. Now I am working with the cast of “Blue Endings”, a new play directed and written by the famousAndrew Marshall. I was chosen as the main character, which was a real honor, but I know it’s a huge responsibility to carry with that role.
When I was 10 years old, I told my parentsI wanted to do something out of school and they suggest me an acting course. I began with the classes and realized the stage was my future, what I really wanted to do. Eight yearslater, I found myself in the New York Acting Academy taking a grade for some months and when I came back I went to a lot of auditions. A couple of weeks later, three important directorsoffered me the opportunity of working with them, my career was beginning.
Once I´m at the theater, we start rehearsing for Blue Endings. Although it’s a little bit tough and demandsenergy and concentration, I enjoy it. We practice for hours, and day by day the play is getting better, I´m proud of it.
I go out of the theater in the afternoon, I hang out with myboyfriend or friends, visit my family or just go back home and relax. The life of an actress can be exhausting and demanding, but at the end of the day you realize it’s worth it.
