We know that pupils sometimes switch off in lessons because they are bored, or because they want to avoid work that is difficult, or because they are put off by noise in the classroom, or because they need individual help which the teacher is not able at that moment to give, or because the immediate task is less enthralling than thinking aboutor chatting about the intricacies of their social lives. These are the familiar day to-day problems of teaching and learning.
The strength of such commitment appears to depend on the fine tuning of challenge and engagement in the classroom, the reliability of school-wide frameworks of encouragement, respect and support, and on the potency of the peer group pro- and anti-work norms. And of courseon the humanity and professional skill of the teacher.

A GOOD TEACHER

A good teacher could be:
a) The competition in the matter.
Teachers who know the subject and they enjoy teaching. Of course, they make the lesson interesting.
It is about not only motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable.teachers who explain things (and who will go through things you don't understand without making you feel small).

b) The deep preoccupation by the students and its success.
Teachers link the lesson to life outside the school.
Good teachers are respectful of students and sensitive to their difficulties in learning – they don't go on about things (like how much better other classes are or howmuch better your older brothers and sisters are).
it understands the students it treats and them by equals.
A teacher who take multiple intelligences into account in her lesson plans.

c) A distinguishing character, meaning that, a teacher of a good character, human, social, fair, friendly, accessible and reliable/consistent, enthusiastic and positive professionally skilled.
Teachers whowill have a laugh but who know how to keep order.
Professors who don’t shout, where you can talk with them.
Having a good relationship with teachers can be very important in their learning.

A teacher who use cooperative learning in her classroom.
Good teaching is also about style. Should good teaching be entertaining?
This is very important -- good teaching is about humor. students learn in amore relaxed atmosphere where you, like them, are human with your own share of faults and shortcomings.

A GOOD LESSON

LESSON PLANNING PROCEDURES
The effective teacher controls the way time is used. Effective teachers systematically and carefully plan for productive use of instructional time.
Teachers at every level prepare plans that aid in the organization and delivery of their dailylessons.
Regardless of the format, all teachers need to make wise decisions about the strategies and methods they will employ to help students move systematically toward learner goals.
The lesson plan is a dreaded part of instruction that most teachers detest.
Three stages of lesson planning follow:
Stage 1: Pre-Lesson Preparation

b) Content
c) Student entry levelStage 2: Lesson Planning and Implementation
A Good lesson is about substance and treating students as consumers of knowledge and working in a secure and friendly environment , you will get the progress of his students.
Opportunities for participation and engagement.
Challenge.
Opportunities to exercise autonomy.
Good working conditions.
