A Letter To My Sister

Dear sister,
I hope things are going well. The reason I’m writing isbecause I forgot your birthday. I’m so sorry that I missed the day and that you didn’t receive any present from me.
First, I wantedto let you know that you’re the best sister I have! No matter how many stones there are between us, you’ll always be in thedepths of my heart. The reason I forgot your birthday was because I was working all day yesterday. My boss called me asking if I couldopen the bank an hour earlier, so I had to get ready very quickly and leave home to be able to get there by 8p.m. He also askedme to do some paperwork and sort files he had in his office. Then, the manager called in sick and couldn’t come to work, so I wasin charge of cleaning my own office. But that’s not the worst thing, I forgot my secretary is off for the entire week becauseyesterday was her wedding, so I had to reply to all the calls and write 50 letters! It was very a busy day, no wonder I was tired!I’m sorry again for missing your birthday, but I will make it up to you soon. I’d like to pass around your house this Sunday sothat I can give you something and I hope you forgive me!
