Plot:
The story begins when Landon Carter (ShaneWest), a high school student, rebellious, and popular and his friends seek to approve Clay Gephardt (Matt Lutz) as a new member of his gang, for this, you are tested, you just with Clayin the hospital. Landon obtains the principal paper of the work, as well as Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) the daughter of the Reverend (Peter Coyote) a very introverted girl, with fewfriends, conservative, but a great girl. Landon wants to have a friendship furtively forfear that his friends move away from him, Jamie rejects it and for it moves away. Landon, one day is going to visit Jamie and to take a gift to her. In the presentation of the play, aftershe finished singing, Landon kissed her but that kiss was not in the script. Jamie reacts with fear as warned not fall in love with her. Jamie tells the truth to Landon, who has leukemiafor two years, and that his body does not react to the treatments this further binds to both. Landon begins to build a telescope to Jamie so you can see a comet called Hyakutake shewanted to see. Jamie has a relapse of the disease and is admitted to the hospital. Landon finishes the telescope on time. Jamie sees the comet and just after, Landon proposes marriage,your/his marriage lasts one summer, she dies.
OPINION:
I loved this movie, it is very reflective, the message of this movie is: Love is like the wind, you can’t see it, but If to feel it.
