I got lost english work

I GOT LOST

Last Week i was in Arica city. It was a great experience, and I was very happy to know a place that I was never been before. All was great,except for the fact that when I arrived to the airport I take a cab to the center of the city and when I get down I start to walk in the near streets, thensoon I realize that I got lost. I had to make a lot of question to the people who lived in there, they give me some instructions to find a touristicinformation cabin and in that place i was able to find a map city. I find a restaurant near, I was hungry because it was time for dinner.

La semana pasadaestuve en Arica. Fue una gran experiencia y estaba muy feliz de conocer un lugar en el que nunca había estado. Todo fue genial, excepto por el hecho de quecuando llegue a al aeropuerto tome un taxi al centro de la ciudad y cuando bajo empiezo a caminar en la calles cercanas, entonces pronto me doy cuenta queme perdí. Tuve que hacer muchas preguntas a la gente que vive ahí, me dieron algunas instrucciones para encontrar una cabina de información turística y enese lugar pude encontrar un mapa de la ciudad.
