Good morning! Dear friends, today we´ll goover Neuquen, the city that is called “the Door Patagonia” and this the reason why we have met here, where is situated the Monument Saint Martin. It is the point zero of the city located in the junction of Alvear and May 25th Boulevards.
On the right hand we can see a grove of eucalyptus, along Argentina Avenue, also called the Avenue of the Artisans. There we can enjoy the local handicraftswhich are very appreciated as a value of the region and that encourage and regulate the commercialization.
On the left hand we can observe the Cathedral and the town Hall. The Cathedral was inaugurated in 1950. It is a building of great artistic architectural beauty, and it exhibits an eclectic style. We can also see the town Hall of Neuquen Capital where are situated all the organizations thatpromote the improvements for the city.
Let´s turn to the right and we´ll go along Roca Street for three blocks until we come to the Government House. It has the function of articulating actions between the different town Councils of the province. It was inaugurated in 1904 an is a construction of two floors. It has an eclectic style, too. Its structure looks like a castle, and it is one of the mostimportant institutions of the Province.
If you come with me, we´ll walk along Olascoaga Avenue to the railway track, where we´ll cross the Central Park, to visit the Fine Art National Museum. It is a Contemporary building opened in 2004, commemorating the centenary of the city. We can appreciate in it the exhibition of the arts that covers the period from the Renaissance to the Realism and the mostrelevant national collections. This allows the public to be in permanent touch with the most various artistic expressions.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, from here we´ll go down Olascoaga Avenue until we get to Road 22. We´ll cross in and we´ll go along Tierra del Fuego Street until we come to the local resort.
The resort has an organized camping where we´ll have lunch and do recreationalactivities like card, games, long walk and canoeing. Very well, my passengers, the moment to visit Grand River or Bank Walk has arrived. There we are going to enjoy the natural scenery of the city and we´ll discover a fan of colours given by the large vegetation along the bank of the river. We´ll have cups of hot chocolate as an afternoon snack and also we´ll have fried cakes, a typical food of theregion.
We´ll go back along Olascoaga Avenue until we got to Centenario Square, also called Flags Square. There is the highest place of the city where during all the year flutters the Argentine Flag, that can be observed from all the city. Besides, we can see the Water Fountain which brings elegance, to the city.
Let´s walk! If you come with me another hundred metres, on the right hand, we´ll arriveto the Viewpoint where we can observe the confluence with Cipolletti and Centenario cities, there we´ll finish our tour.
We are grateful for your attention and collaboration to make this circuit!.

End of the services.
