Climate
Acapulco features a tropical wet and dry climate. The climate is warm with wet and dry seasons, but this varies depending on the altitude. The warmest areas are next to the sea. Tropicalstorms and hurricanes are a threat from May through November. The forested area tends to lose leaves during the winter dry season with evergreen pines in the highest elevations.

Fauna mostly consistsof deer, small mammals and birds, a variety of land and sea as well as marine animals such as turtles.

Gastronomy
Acapulco has a great variety of restaurants on the Avenida Costera Miguel Alemanwhere tourism can appreciate the typical regional food, a part of the cuisine can be savored in Acapulco Central Market located on the side of the highway Diego Hurtado de Mendoza . One of these dishesis ceviche typical of Acapulco, is enjoyed with some crackers, tomato sauce and a touch of rich buffalo sauce.

It is a port city located in the Mexican state of Guerrero, on the south coast, 304kilometers from Mexico City, Acapulco is divided into three main tourist areas known as Acapulco, Acapulco Dorado and Acapulco Diamante. The traditional area peaked in the mid 20th century and the endwhile Acapulco Gold and Diamond are the most luxurious and there are located the new luxury hotels.

The city currently has 101 edificios13 between 40 and 123 meters, it is noteworthy that the citywas the first in Mexico, along with Mexico City-in buildings having more than 40 meters, and is one of the cities with best skyline in Mexico. Acapulco is the only city in the entire state and theMexican Pacific in having buildings over 100 meters.
