Chico trujillo

Chico Trujillo is a new Chilean Cumbia band. Born in 1999, in the city of Villa Alemana, central zone of Chile, after a tour that Aldoe Asenjo, alias 'Macha', performed with hisband La Floripondio by cities of Germany, Netherlands and Austria.
By then Aldo Asenjo met daily with his friend Antonio Orellana to play guitar and try things other than music Floripondio. Weregradually integrating new members as Tuto Vargas and Juan Gronemeyer.
Proceeds from these trials comes the debut album titled Chico Trujillo y la Señora imaginacion. At concerts the original songs mixedwith traditional cumbias interpretations, which led to mix a band playing cumbias, boleros and ska, all passed through a filter renovated with good lyrics, emotion and strength. Different presentationsare made as the top Chilean guachaca in the Mapocho Station, several college parties, concerts for release committees Mapuche, etc.
In the summer of 2002 (June, July) made ​​their first appearancesin Berlin, Tacheles cultural center precisely, then moving on to perform many concerts in the shoe coffee place. They also perform their first concerts in Spain, La Coruna, Ferrol and oleiros.
Thisis repeated in 2003, and closes with the recording Fiesta de reyes.
