Born July 30, 1947 is an Austrian and American former professional bodybuilder, actor, businessman, investor,and politician. He served as the 38th Governor of California from 2003 until 2011.
He began to weight train at the age of 15 years old. He was awarded the titleof Mr. Universe at age 20 and went on to win the Mr. Olympia contest seven times. He has remained a prominent presence in the sport of bodybuilding and he haswritten several books and numerous articles on the sport. He gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film icon, and introduced famous phrases such as “Hastala vista baby”. He was nicknamed the "Austrian Oak" and the "Styrian Oak" in his bodybuilding days, and more recently the "Governator" (from "Governor" and"Terminator").
As an actor, he started his career as the main character in the “Conan” movie, showing the best of his body as an ancient warrior. Most of his famousfilms, he shows his body which is the main attraction because his body is extremely builded. His most famous film is “Terminator” where he plays a role as a robotfrom the future who first came to kill a human, but later on the other movies he is a protector of humans. Among some of his famous films there is also“Predator”, where he plays a military man trying to kill an alien, also “True Lies”, where he plays as a Government agent where his wife (Jaime Lee Curtis) does not have aclue of her husbands Profession.
In his personal and private life, he was married to Maria Shriver. The couple separated in 2011 after 25 years of marriage.
