The Beatles - Historia Como todo el mundo sabe, la historia de The Beatles comienza en Liverpool, una ciudad portuaria e industrial del centro de Londres, con un intenso tráficomarítimo hacia los puertos estadounidenses y europeos.
John Lennon y Richard Starkey nacieron en 1940, Paul McCartney en 1942 y George Harrison en 1943. La vida de todos ellos fue la de chicos de barriode clase media baja. La infancia más turbulenta fue la de Lennon, cuyo padre abandonó a su madre quien, a su vez, murió atropellada por un policía borracho. Por el contrario el papel opuesto lo tuvoMcCartney, que nació en una familia más "normal" en la que recibió sus primeras nociones de música.
Los inicios de The Beatles arrancan desde las primeras fiestas estudiantiles y actuaciones ensalones parroquiales y ceremonias familiares con distintas formaciones y nombres como The Quarrymen. El grupo se profesionaliza cuando embarcan hacia Hamburgo John, Paul y George más Stuart Stuclife al bajoy Pete Best a la batería. Es en Hamburgo donde realmente se pule el grupo en noches interminables tocando a todo volumen en bares de mala muerte.
