Bon Jovi is an American hard rock band, formed in Sayreville (New Jersey) in 1983 byJon Bon Jovi (lead singer), with Richie Sambora on guitar, David Bryan on keyboards,Tico Torres on drums and Alec John such as bassist (unofficially replaced in 1994 byHugh McDonald). Bon Jovi achieved great success and worldwide fame in the decades of the 80, 90 and 2000, becoming aclassic Rock.
During the 80's Bon Jovi was characterized as a glam metal band, genre declined in the early 90 due to the rise of alternative rock. For this reason, many considered theeighties bandslike Bon Jovi were finished, but the U.S. group made a radical change to his music and returned in 1992 with the album Keep The Faith, which sold over 12million copies. Something similar happened atthe beginning of its third phase in 2000 when he achieved great success and thanks to the album Crush impact of projectingtheir hit single It's My Life.
Since then the band has adapted musically eachtime reaping huge success that sold over 130 million albums.
