DAÑOS PSICOLÓGICOS DE LA VÍCTIMA DE BULLYING EN UNA COMUNIDAD UNIVERSITARIA

Resumen
La experienciabullying deja daños y secuelas que se manifiestan en las víctimas, tanto a corto como a largo plazo, afectando su vida adulta en todos los aspectos, principalmente en lo laboral, social y familiar.
El objetivo de este trabajo es hacer énfasis en las secuelas psicológicas que provoca el acto de bullying a largo plazo en la vida cotidiana de los universitarios.
En los resultados de la presenteinvestigación descriptiva, se permite comprobar que sobre una muestra de 100 alumnos de entre 17 a 47 años de edad, que cursan el primer trimestre de su vida académica, en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco, las agresiones más comunes durante la infancia y adolescencia fueron: insultos, sobrenombres, difamación y robos; a la vez que las secuelas más frecuentes en lapersonalidad de los universitarios encuestados, son los recuerdos del evento de intimidación o bullying, que con sólo evocarlos les provoca sufrimiento.
En el análisis de resultados, se obtiene que el 24% de la muestra fueron víctimas y presentan algún tipo de secuela, el 58% a pesar de responder que alguna vez sufrió algún tipo de intimidación, no presentó ninguna consecuencia, ya que consideró laexperiencia como nada grave y no cree que tenga consecuencias en un futuro y el 18% restante afirma que nunca sufrió ningún tipo de intimidación. Se pudo constatar que la experiencia de intimidación o bullying, deja secuelas en la víctima, y cuando se considera algo grave y en casos extremos, se llega incluso a ideaciones suicidas. Los resultados fueron obtenidos mediante el Cuestionario Retrospectivode Bullying de [Rivers]1(RBQ), traducido al español por [Kevin Van der Meulen (2003)].

Abstract
The bullying experience produces damages and sequels that are pronounced in the victims as short and long-term, affecting their adult lives in all aspects, especially personally, professionally and socially.
Theobjective of this article is to make emphasis in the psychological long-term sequels that bullying provokes in college students’ every-day lives.
In the outcomes of the present descriptive investigation, it is allowed to verify on a sample of 100 students aged between 17 to 47 years, who attend the first trimester of their academic life, in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unit Xochimilco. Themost common aggressions during childhood and adolescence were: insults, nicknames, defamation and robberies. The most frequent sequels the students reported are the memories of intimidating events by evoking all the suffering they had to go through.
After having analyzed the results, it is obtained that 24 % of the surveyed students were victims and present some type of sequel; 58% in spite ofresponding that sometimes they had undergone some type of intimidation, they do not present any consequence, since they considered the experience as not as burden and they do not think that it will not bring consequences in the future; finally, the last 18% of the colleges affirm that they have never been victims of any type of intimidation.
As a conclusion, the survey helps us to state thatthe experience of intimidation or bullying produces sequels in the victim, and when bullying is considered a burden and in some extreme cases it even causes suicidal thoughts. The results were obtained by means of the Retrospective Questionnaire of Bullying (Rivers). Translated into Spanish by Kevin Van der Muelen (2003).
