1)What is your church´s denominational affiliation?
Methodism. The United Methodist Church.
2)How many years has the church existed?
Around 25 years and it is in Florida.3)Describe your church´s primary purpose or mission. Does the church have a purpose/mission statement? if so, what is it?
The purpose if this church is to lead people into growing relationships with JesusChrist. Important for the people in this church to love God and love people.
4)What are 3-5 core beliefs of your church?
· World and everything in it was created by God for his glory.
· Christ aloneis able to meet humanities deepest needed.
· All of humanity has rejected God and creation has followed as a result. God came in the person of Jesus Christ to restore our relationship with him andof all creation.
· You and I were created to be in relationship with God.
· Some of their core beliefs are closely related to the creeds.
5)What is your church´s view on the Bible?
The UnitedMethodist Church is looking to the Bible the following way: The Bible is inspired by God, not dictated, we believe that it is reliable to lead people into truth. The purpose of all scripture is forinstruction, correction and ultimately to point to Christ.
6)What is your church´s view of the classic, historical creeds of the church?
The church agrees with it. They are saying that they will get judgedfor what they have done well or bad.
7)In a short statement please summarize your church´s belief about the following:
a) The trinity. The believe in one God who exists in three different persons:God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. There is no separation between three, there is perfect unity instead.
b)The resurrection of Jesus Christ. They believe that it is a historical andverifiable fact that was witnessed by more than 500 people. For them it is the primary reason that Christianity exists.
c)The end Times/Eternity. Christians from the first church/century have believed...
