In life we are exposed to many situations that can damage our health, our
belongings oreven deprive us of the life. All this takes an economic expense
that, the majority of the times, turns outto be very high. It is suitable to have
insurance that covers the hurt, at least as for the expenses it refers. The Insurance
is not a contract, named "Policy", the company is compromise to theperson
who bought the insurance covers suffers, some hurt in his person (diseases
or accidents and even the death), or in some of his goods (car, company,
workshop or house) for any motive thatcan happen like:(theft, fire, earthquake).
The above mentioned person (or who she has designated as beneficiary)
will receive the quantity of money reminded in the policy. To this money he isknown as "Indemnification". The policy establishes the quantity of money that the
Policyholder will have to pay to the company every month or in the time that both
have reminded. To this money that ispaid to the Insurance company is called the
"prima".

In Costa Rica a company that makes this polices is the INS ( Instituto
Nacional de Seguros).

The legal frame of the insurance of Risks of the Work, is contained in the
fourth title ofthe Code of Work, for what necessarily we must value the
scopes of the article 193 that establishes that: Every employer, even if he
is a person of Public law or of Private Law, it is forced toassure his
workers against risks of the work, by means of theNational Institute of
Insurances, according to the articles 4 ° and 18 of the Code of Work.
The responsibility of the employer, as forassuring against risks of the
work, survives even in case of a worker that is under an intermediaries'
direction, of whom the employer uses for the execution or accomplishment
of the works.
