After self releasing their first EP, touring Spain ontheir own as well as supporting international bands, receiving great reviews from Spain’s biggest music magazines and being asked to perform on MTV (all while stillunsigned) Day Of Rising moved to London, UK. While in the UK, they relased a new EP (Unmasking St.Minver, Punktastic Recordings), recorded new material, toured all aroundthe country and got great reviews from the UK music media. Back in Spain, they played festivals with bands such as Linkin Park, supported Fall Out Boy on their firstever show in Spain and toured with New Found Glory on their last Spanish tour. In September 2009, Day Of Rising recorded their debut album Deceivers United withacclaimed producer Romesh Dodangoda, whose producing credits include Funeral For A Friend and Kids In Glass Houses. The album was released on May 10th, 2010 through theband's own label, Young & Loyal "'Deceivers United' is an absolute belter (...) one of the best releases of 2010 so far and I have no doubt that if DOR were Americanthey'd be the critics' darlings.
