Regulares

Adjetivos de 2 sílabas o menos: heavy ( pesado ), big, small (pequeño), short ( corto ) tall (largo), young(joven), old(viejo), cheap(barato)

S + V + (adj. + er) + than (que)… = the car is heavier than an apple =
El coche es más pesado que una manzana.


Adjetivos de mas de 2 sílabas:difficult, expensive(caro), beautiful, wonderful (maravilloso) …

S + V + more + adj. + than… = this ring is more expensive than my t-shirt = este anillo es mas caro que mi camiseta.Excepciones:

Good(bueno), bad(malo), far(lejos)

Good = better, bad = worse, far = farther or further
S + V + (excepcion) + than (que)…= George is better than me = Jorge es mejor que yoSuperlative.

Adjetivos de 2 sílabas o menos:

S + V + the + (adj + -est) = Anthony is the biggest = Anthony es el más grande


Adjetivos de mas de 2 sílabas:

S + V + the +most + adj. = Anthony is the most wonderful = Anthony es el más maravilloso.



Excepciones: good > best, bad > worst, far > farthest or furthest
