Scientist don´t understand of how exactly the alcohol affects the human body. Alcohol affects various neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine. Synapses transfer nerve impulses aschemicals called neurotransmitters.

Effects on reaction times and reduced self-control

Gaba (gamma-aminobutyric acid) this is an inhibitory for the brain which makes stop sending messages orslow these ones. Alcohol increases this acid that is why when you consume alcohol it is less likely you can avoid a car accident because of this. Dopamine is another excitatory neurotransmitters or isalso called ´the feeling good hormone´ for this cause is why people became addict to alcohol.

Is alcohol a depressant?

Alcohol, according to conventional wisdom, is a depressant. But yet itdoesn´t explain the effects of alcohol. People often drink to liven up a party, instead of being apart of it. A few drinks can spark energy, elation and excitement; it gives you like a spark to reviveyourself also it gives confidence. Alcohol may be more than simply a depressant. A subsequent group of researchers found that drinking increases levels of norepinephrine, the neurotransmitterresponsible for arousal, which would account for heightened excitement when someone begins drinking. Norepinephrine is the chemical target of many stimulants, suggesting that alcohol is more than merely adepressant.

How alcohol damages the liver?

The liver is the largest organ in the body. It is located in the centre of the abdomen and holds approximately 13% of the body's blood supply. Alcohol isfiltered by the liver. The liver breaks it down until a form the body can eliminate. When there is too much alcohol ingested the liver can´t digest or break it down so there is an imbalance.
