The basic components for assemble a PC are motherboard, processor, cooler, case, power supply, hard disk, RAM memory.

The first open the case, please be careful, remove the lateral part of the case (to screw on motherboard)

Next putthe microprocessor in the white socket, go up the lateral lever, check if the connection is fine, after that go down the lever to secure the connection.

Then put the cooler on microprocessor to make a direct contact. This model to base on metallic DISIPADOR to hook in nick between sockets.
The cooler has a connector cable that will connect to the motherboard connector listed as suitable for the CPU FAN, there are cooler 5 ¼ connectors similar to the hard disk andCD-ROM, then we connect a cable from the power supply.

Put the memory module. Usually the motherboards have 3 slots, but others may be 4. Put it in the first slot. The memory module can be a DIMM or SIMM, for the two case is the same process.

We can insert other components, for example the three IDE cables. This cables can be a floppy drive (floppy), hard drive(IDE 0) and reading CD-ROM (IDE 1). [pic]
To find the orientation of the cables, we see that a cable end is red and corresponds to pin No. 1. Search the board position 1 and connect the cable.

 We now proceed to put on the board that we have previously extracted from the case.
