“Habit is stronger than reason” says George Sanayana a famous philosopher, it’s for me mainly the reason of why smokers don’t leave it behind lives. N the pastdecades smoking has became famous because it was prestigious, a way to demonstrate your bravery to all society. A way to prove it, is seeing 89’s and 90’s movies, commercials like the Marlboro man. Thereality now to that generation is paying the consequences in their bodies, and all the problems caused by them, above the economical inversion have madden by a entire life of consume. Smoking isdetrimental, because it costs money, creates pollution, and results in medical problems.
Certainly it is a serious problem nowadays, each day more and more people, and more often at younger ages, beginsmoking, it is commonly seen that in mid-school the students just take a step out of the institution and take out a cigarette, I have been in a group called “Escuadrón” and I had seen guys of 14 yearssmoking, and it’s now known that it stops the natural growing of the body.
The thing that concern me the most, is that the most of fathers cannot say a word to them because they are smokers, is acontinuous cycle because the argument is valid, why I cant smoke if you do it, and by being “rebels” they do it just to disobey their parents.
The fact is that, if the people could have the informationof the real cost of smoking, I bet the most of them would not continue smoking, or they would prove just for curiosity. The thing is, when you begin smoking almost nobody can left it, or if they do,the anxious of that begin to be a problem.
Most of the smokers don’t touch the cigarette, and they are called passive smokers and the health problems of them are more notorious, cause the smokeinhaled by them does not have a filter.
