DESCRIPTION

This plant belongs to the lily family, resembles a small rhizome maguey long, has a herbaceous growth habit, the leaves are called fronds, are large, thick, fleshy, with upturnedteeth, tipped thorns and sharp edges. Most species form a large rosette of thick fleshy leaves and stems emerging from short (in somespecies is very long and even branched).
