The strongest, most reliable leak-proof seal in the industry
Friatec is engineered smarter than traditional fusion systems. Manufactured in the USA, Friatec couplings feature a unique, exposedcoil design that provides a seal stronger than any other electrofusion system on the market. This is achieved for two reasons: • the heat, created by the electrical current passing through the exposed coil of the Friatec coupling, is transferred directly to the PE pipe, and • the coil protrudes from the interior surface of the coupling. When the pipe is heated, the coil sinks into it creating amuch stronger bond. As a result of this process, every joint will be sealed precisely to specification, automatically, every time, minimizing the risk of human error. This unparalleled sealing technology has earned Friatec couplings the highest pressure rating in the industry. What’s more, because every joint is as strong as the pipe itself, the Friatec Electrofusion system is ideal for horizontaldirect drilling and other trenchless applications.

Faster, easier installation
Thanks to Friatec’sportable “Genesis F3” universal electrofusion processor, installation is quick and easy. It can be performed right in the trench, even where space is extremely limited. For trackability, the barcode label of each coupling is also scanned with Genesis F3’s reader wand. Genesis F3 automatically determines the best electrical current and fusing time required. And most importantly, the Genesis F3 ismore:

• RELIABLE: because it uses electricity to distribute heat uniformly around the coupling for a more
uniformly sealed joint.

• REPEATABLE: as it automatically adjusts processing parameters for each coupling by accounting for
the job-site conditions, such as ambient temperature, eliminating human error and ensuring that the seal is precisely to specification, every time!

verification of seal integrity and comprehensive documentation for archiving.
