China or Republic of China is the largest country in Asia, it is in the center of Asia. China is the second-largest country in the world by land area after Russia.
We think China's total area is generally stated as being approximately 9,600,000 km2 ,
China is bordered by Russia, India, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau (semi-autonomous), Mongolia,Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.
The capital of China is Beijing, china has divided into 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions, and 4 municipalities.
China has the largest population of any country in the world. The population of China is about 1,321,851,000. China population is distributed unevenly with more in the east (more than 300 persons per square kilometer) and fewer in the westThe national language is Putonghua (the common speech) or Mandarin, which is one of the five working languages at the United Nations. Chinese people speak mandarin (Putong Hua, Hanyu, Huayu, Guoyu, standard Chinese) which is based on Beijing Dialect.
Cantonese is one of the local dialects of southern China. As a written language, Chinese has been used for 6,000 years.
China is a multi-religiouscountry. Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestantism, with the first three being more wide spread. the majority Han nationality believes in Buddhism, Christianity and Taoism.
Chinese Money is called Renminbi (RMB) (means "People's Currency"). The popular unit of RMB is Yuan. The official exchange rate between U.S. Dollar and Renminbi Yuan currently is about 1 : 8.3

The red color of the flag symbolizes revolution. The large star symbolizes the Communist Party (which rules China) and the smaller stars represent the people of China.
China has a continental and seasonal climate. Most parts are in the temperatezone but southern areas are in the tropical or subtropical zone while northern areas are in the frigid zone.
The major rivers in China are the Yangtse River, the Yellow River, and the Pearl River. The Yangtze of 6,300 kilometers is the longest river in China. The second longest Yellow River is 5,464 kilometers.
Mountain Ranges: The highest mountain range in the world, the Himalayas, borders China.ancient Chinese architecture is an important component of the system of world architecture. During its long development, it gradually formed into a style which featured timberwork combining stone carving, rammed earth construction, bucket arch buildings and many other techniques. Industrious Chinese laboring people created many architectural miracles such as the Great Wall, Forbidden City andthe Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
Chinese Architecture Features: The most significant characteristic of ancient Chinese architecture is the use of timber framework. Paintings and carvings were added to the architectural work to make it more beautiful and attractive.
The Great Wall of China was built over 2,000 years ago, by Qin Shi Huangdi, the first emperor of China. The Great Wall is oneof the largest building construction projects ever completed.
