This text will be applied to 7th graders at Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, this is a public schooland their English level is basic 1.
• Description of the test taker
The students do not speak English because they only have received English in the school (1 hour per week in primary and 2hours per week in secondary).

According to The Common European Framework, the A1 level demands “Students Can understand and use familiar expressions and very basic phrases aimed at thesatisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
