Selected Response Task

Directions: Write 10 multiple-choice questions. Choose two different domains: 1) reading or listening, and 2) grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation. For each domain, write 5multiple-choice questions.

Include the following information:

• Description of the context
This text will be applied to 7th graders at Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, this is a public schooland their English level is basic 1.
• Description of the test taker
The students do not speak English because they only have received English in the school (1 hour per week in primary and 2hours per week in secondary).

According to The Common European Framework, the A1 level demands “Students Can understand and use familiar expressions and very basic phrases aimed at thesatisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help”

• Purpose of each task
Task 1.
The purpose of the listening task is toassess the personal information we were working in the previous class. (Name, address, telephone number, age and hobbies)
