PROJECT PROPOSAL
1. Current Conditions Or Situation On The Class Observed
Technical University of Ambato is an institution with the objectiveof creates competitive teachers to answer the country necessities. English is one of the Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la Educacion careers that promote and defund the English knowledge. This project is directed for the fourth semester ¨A¨ students. It starts classes at 7 a.m. and finishes at 1:15 p.m.
Nowadays, the class receives six subjects in which ones students develop the four Englishskills. Teachers in this class do their work in a correct way, but students are not motivated to improve their listening skill, teachers do not know how to motivate students to improve the listening skill.
Referring to the current situation. Technical University of Ambato has native speakers teacher who promote the English learning. Also the classrooms have equipment in order to teach aninteractive English.
2. The problem
The influence of lacking audio material in order to improve the listening skills in students of the fourth semester of the English career.
3. Justification
The main goal to develop this project is to improve the knowledge of English and reforce the practice of it by motivating students to practice it by using extra audio materials outside the classroom.4. Who will benefit
First of all the main beneficiaries of this project are students, teachers and the institution. Students because they are learning the language and improving the listening skill they will be able to learn it faster. Teachers because they will improve their classes and they can do more interesting classes. The institution Because it will improve their teaching quality.Therefore it will have better professionals.
5. Operational Objectives
6.1 General objectives
To improve the teaching of English and the listening skill.
6.2 Specific Objectives
* To promote the use of extra audio materials.
* To provide extra audio materials that can motivate students to practice it.

Introduction
There are numerous audio-visual aids that you could use in your lessons. This unit will focus will on selected audio-visual aids that are normally available in your school. Some of these aids could be made by you. However, the focus of this unit will not be on how to makethese aids but on their use.
Why do I think you need to use audio-visual aids in your lesson?
a. To maintain a high level of interest in the lesson
b. To get students to use the language, especially at the beginning stages
c. To promote greater student participation
d. They can be used at all levels of learning

Introduction
It is sometimestime-consuming and/or exhausting to make second/foreign language materials (either newly constructed or adapted) suitable and acceptable to the learner because he/she may feel uninterested in and even disappointed with them as he/she finds them unfamiliar, difficult, problematic, mechanical, unattractive and so forth. Besides, the teaching methods and techniques the teacher employs may not be in consonancewith the learner's needs, interests, level and aptitude. Hence, as opposed to the traditional approach to L2 teaching including the chalk and talk method, the communicative language teaching approach encourages the teacher to act as a facilitator by helping the learner become an interested, active and efficient participant in the whole learning process (Richards and Rodgers 2002).
