Adverbios de Modo
Adverbs of Manner
Utilizamos estos adverbios cuando queremos expresar la manera en que se realiza una acción. En general se forman agregando "ly" al final del adjetivo.
La mayoría terminan en 'ly' que equivale a la terminación 'mente' n castellano. Generalmente derivan de adjetivos

hard (járd) - fuerte, duro, mucho
softly (sóftli) – suavemente
Los adverbios de lugar nos permitenindicar dónde se realiza una acción: here, there, above, everywhere, away.
here (jíer) - aquí
there (déer) - allá
near (níar) -cerca
nearby (níirbai) -cerca
far (fár) - lejos
away (euéi) – lejos

sideways (sáidwéis) - hacia un lado, de lado
back (bák) - detrás, en la parte trasera, hacia atrás

over here (óuver jíer) - por aquí
over there (óver déer) - por allí
right here (ráit jíer) - justo aquí

up here (áp híer) - aquí arriba
down there (dáun déer) - allí abajo
up (ap) - arriba, encima, en lo alto
down (dáun) - abajo, hacia
Cuando queremos expresar en qué momento se realiza una acción, utilizamos los adverbios de tiempo: now, early, late, soon, already, tomorrow.
early (érli) - temprano
late (léit) - tarde
earlier (érlier) - antes, más temprano
later (léiter) - luego, mástarde
then (den) - luego, entonces
before (bifór) - antes
after (áfter) - después
afterwards (áfteruárds) – luego
 Daniel usually wakes up early every morning.
Daniel por lo general se despierta temprano cada mañana.
 Joe and Pam arrived late last night.
Joe y Pam llegaron tarde anoche.
now (náu) - ahora
nowadays (náuedéis) - hoydía
