I think "social networking" is an interesting story, because, while I read the article, I found how to the social networks have changed over time. The technology is constantly changing andthe users can use the different programs easier than in the past. For example, when the web 0.1 changed to web 0.2, the majority of user could surf on the internet easily and they could interact withothers persons around the world, also they could make their own web sites.
I would have liked that in this article describe other social networks like Facebook or twitter, not only the evolution of MySpace, because these networks are now being used by many people of all ages in the world. I would want to know, how these social networking did to have success over time. I only know about the historyof Facebook by the movie "Social Network", this movie was released in 2010 and in my opinion is very interesting.
On this topic, I know something about Web 0.1 and Web 0.2. When Web 0.1 was used bythe users, this was a little difficult for them because this was a basic form of navigation on the Internet, where users could only enter text but they could not use any image or make a comment aboutwhat was written. However, today with Web 0.2 users can create their own websites, where they put photos, videos or write about his personal life, as in social networks, so that other users visitingtheir pages and they make comments on any photo or any common theme. With the advance of technology, people can now communicate faster, though they are on different continents. Over time, handwrittenletters have been replaced by the e-mails. You no longer need you to go to post office, just with a computer and a click you can be connecting to the world.
With that article, I learned more about thesocial networking. For example I didn't know that Orkut and Cyworld were social networks too. Also, I learned about the code HTML that was used to create web pages and it was difficult to get the...
