Michael Jackson was the first artist to get two stars on the walk of fame in Hollywood.


August 29, 1958:
MichaelJoseph Jackson is born in Gary, Indiana. It is the seventh of nine children.

1963:
After several years of training, The Jackson 5 begins to perform in public.

During production of a Pepsi-Cola, Jackson's scalp sustains burns when his hair on fire due to an explosion.

1985:
Jackson and Lionel Richie write what becomes one of the best-selling singles in a short time: "We Are the World." The song wasproduced to raise money for famine victims in Ethiopia. Jackson also pays $ 47.5 million for the rights to over 250 songs written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

1993:
Jackson reveals in a television interview that he inherited a disease that causes skin pigmentation disappears. He is also accused of molesting a boy who often stayed at his mansion.
