You will receive the questions for both of these exams inadvance. In addition to the exams there will be five pop quizzes based on the readings and lectures. Three papers based on the assigned readings will also be required. The first and second papers will be based on documents found on the PEARSONS’ MyHistoryLab website and are due September 11 and October 2, respectively. Papers 1 & 2 will be pasted onto the Blackboard website. The midterm willtake place in class on October 18. Paper number three will be an essay based on four themes present in the Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl and will be due November 15. This paper will be uploaded to Safe Assign on Blackboard and a hard copy must be submitted in class. Your final exam is scheduled (as stipulated by the university) for Tuesday, December 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. If you donot show up for the final exam you will fail it.
