IRELAND
is an island situated in North-west Europe,in the Atlantic Ocean and separated from Great Britain by the Irish Sea.

Politically, Ireland is divided in the Republic of Ireland, whosecapital is Dublin,, and Northern Ireland, a part of the United Kingdom, which is located in the north-east of the island and whose capital is Belfast.
The population of Ireland is about 4.8 million.The currency is the Euro and the spoken languages are English and Gaelic, more frequently known as Irish. Both of theme are official but english is more considered as the first language, while Irish isspoken as a first language by a small minority of Irish people.
CULTURE AND TRADITIONS:
Ireland is a land with one of the richest culture and traditions that we can find. The Celtic history androots are still present all over the country because despite the passage of time irish people don´t lose its traditional identity.
St. Patrick's Day:
Celebrated on March 17, its the most famouscelebration in Ireland.
Originally it was a religious celebration in honor of the teachings of the patron saint of Ireland
On this date, the key of the celebration is the use of green color of the clover intraditional clothing and decorations. Clover symbolizes the teachings of the Holy Trinity from St. Patrick. During the day countless parades take place and during the evening and night we can findfestivals and parties in all the pubs of Ireland.
Halloween, Christmass and weadings are celebrated with lot of importance and effusiveness.
Leprechauns: are the main characters of Irish folklore.Legend says that leprechauns are in Ireland since before the arrival of the Celts, and they are dressed in a traditional hat and they can bring you luck if you get to take his pot of gold.
Music anddance: Music has always been and it is still a very important part of Irish identity. The instruments that make the characteristic sound of traditional Celtic music are normal flutes, bagpipes,...
