DESCRIPTION:

This driver supports processor performance control via theprocessor objects defined in the ACPI 2.0 specification.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) AMD Athlon™ 64/Sempron™/Turion™ 64/Opteron™ systems with ACPI 2.0 processor performance control objects
2) Windowsâ XP orWindowsâ Server 2003

KNOWN Windows XP LIMITATIONS: 
1) "System Properties" reports wrong processor speed.

2) The Processor speed may be reported incorrectly in Windows XP.

3) If not running ServicePack 2 (SP2), the processor performance state may not be restored to the maximum state if the CPU runs at 100 percent. This problem occurs ifthe computer is 100 percent busy when the power policy changes.
