Our gear units feature a pressure balanced design, for optimal sealing between the bearings and gears

side faces. This intelligent solution enables sealing pressure to automatically adapt to the operating conditions. The result is an improvement in overall efficiency, whileenergy losses are kept to a minimum. Bearing blocks with integrated DU bushings, in our aluminum gear units, and steel-backed bronze deflecting plates, in our cast iron gear units, help minimize internal friction. We also use an extremely

accurate cut-in process to ensure a perfect fit between the gear set and the housing. As a result, both mechanical and volumetric efficiency is significantlyimproved, extending the operating life of the gear unit. GEAR MOTORS
Sauer-Danfoss gear motors are a range of highly efficient, fixed-displacement units available in four differentframe sizes. They feature both extruded aluminum housings, where the rear cover and front flange are also made of aluminum for maximum strength and low weight, and compact cast iron housings that provide efficient, robust performance. Our gear motors are designed to operate effectively with high back pressure and extremely low system pressure. The high efficiency of our motors also ensures anexcellent starting torque.

Modern fan drives require variable-speed electronic control systems to help OEMs meet both current and future emissions legislation, while improving system efficiency and machine productivity. Sauer-Danfoss electro-hydraulic fan drive motors are fully PLUS+1™ Compliant for easy, seamlessintegration into electronic control systems. The hydraulic fan drive motors also enable the heat exchanger to be positioned away from the engine, significantly improving design flexibility.
