THE BOSCOMBE VALLEY MISTERY

Watson part with Holmes to Boscombe Valley, a region near Ross, in Herefordshire. Upon arrival, Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard put them in charge of history which, in its usual shortsightedness, is a clear case. Young James has murdered his father, the farmer McCarthy. Although the young man's guilt seems obvious, taking into account the pleas of Alice Turner,daughter of millionaire John Turner and intimate friend of the young, gentlemanly, Lestrade has requested the presence of Sherlock Holmes. THE FIVE ORANGES PIPS
