LEGAL SYSTEM
“theocratic law”
Nowadays around the world exits mechanism that creates a laws in a specified jurisdiction, this is calling legal systems and has different types thatare: common law, civil law, theocratic law, customary law and mixed systems. Depending of the country will be the type of legal systems, because in much of case influence the government,religious, costumes, populations, history etc., all of these things are referents to apply a specific system.
Personally, I have had much interest about Theocratic law because It´s a systembased on religious doctrine, precepts, and beliefs. So currently is difficult to developing countries accept rules or laws from countries that take “The Islam” how their jurisdiction becauseviolet many rights. For example four days ago I read in a Peru´s newspaper called “Correo” that “International Olympic Committee (IOC) said it has yet to resolve a dispute with Saudi Arabiaover its refusal to include women in their sports teams.
The religious conservatives in this country say that Islamic law forbids women to play sports in public. The IOC struggle in theseOlympic Games all countries have male and female representation”. (BBC, 2012)
So for me is really hard understand this, because I grow in other jurisdiction with a civil law that give rightsfor women and men the same way but at the same time I found interesting this type of life and have curiosity to know how the women can support and adapt special when they live in a countrywhere the laws doesn´t give any benefits for them. Finally also is important to the companies or governments try to understand because the Islamic laws affect business, transactions or relationwith others.
