LECTURA CRÍTICA Y ESCRITURA SIGNIFICATIVA: Acercamiento didáctico desde la lingüística

RESUMEN
Partiendo de Van Dijk y Kintsch (1993), de Rodríguez Rojo (1997), de Díaz-Barriga y Hernández(2002), de Burón (2002) y de Ríos (2004), este trabajo muestra la labor en aula realizada por la autora, entre los años 2003-
2007. Esa actividad ha permitido mejorar considerablemente la lectura y la escritura en los cursos del área de Literatura en el Departamento de Castellano y Literatura de la UPEL-IPB. Atendiendo a estos preceptos teóricos se revisan, se aplican y seplantean estrategias metacognitivas para el desarrollo de destrezas de lectura y escritura, siguiendo los parámetros de la Investigación-Acción y la Investigación Cualitativa en Educación. Los resultados de este trabajo arrojan que: a) la lectura y la escritura son procesos cognitivos; b) el docente debe promover el uso de estrategias cognitivas y metacognitivas en los estudiantes; c) ellogro de la lectura y la escritura como habilidades lingüísticas requiere de permanente asesoría y observación directa del docente.

CRITICALREADINGAND SIGNIFICANT WRITING: DIDACTIC APPROACH FROM LINGUISTICS
ABSTRACT
This investigation is based on van Dijk and Kintsch (1993), on Rodríguez Rojo (1997),Díaz-Barriga and Hernández (2002), on Burón (2002) and Ríos (2004); the purpose of this work is to show classroom activities, used by the author, among the years 2003-2007. They have allowed improving reading and writing processes considerably in the courses of Literature, Language and Literature specialty at Castellano and Literature Department from UPEL-IPB. Thus, metacognitivestrategies are analyzed, applied and thought about to develop reading and writing, following the parameters of the Investigation-Action and Qualitative Investigation in Education. The results of this study consent to point out that: a) reading and writing are cognitive processes; b) professors should promote the use of cognitive and metacognitive strategies by thestudents; c) to achieve reading and writing as linguistic abilities, students require permanent educational guide and direct observation.
