Moorish Chicken

Ingredients:
* 6 Chicken pieces.* 2 large onions.
* A tomato
* Black and green olives
* Toasted almonds or fried skinless
* Currants
* Prunes
* Salt
* Olive oil
* Water
*Moorish Spices "Raps El Hanout" (or, if you find them, spices "Touch Morocco" ... but its better with Raps El Hanout

Instructions:
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan or casserole.Chop the onions and cut into very thin earrings and put saute. When are translucent, add the tomato, peeled and chopped (you can also grate with a grater with larger holes).Sauté a few more minutes and add the chicken.
We let the chicken fry few little minutes, turning until it turns a little color on both sides.
Add the spices (in large quantity) andsalt, stir, and add a glass of water (without allowing it to completely cover the chicken). Cover the pan and let simmer not very strong between half an hour and three quarters ofan hour. At the last moment, add the raisins, prunes, olives and cut into slices. Let it boil a minute or two, add at the last minute almonds (because, if we put them before, theyabsorb too much liquid and are not good) and retired.
It can be served alone or with rice or couscous.
