At the age of 9 years old, Maldela’s father died of tuberculosis,after some time, he was adopted by Chief Jongintaba Dalindyebo, this was because was in debt, he owed him a favor. Nelson left Qunu and travelled by motocar to Mqhekezweni.
He started going toschool, he started to learn history, geography and other subjects that impulsed him to develop interest in the African history
Whran mandela had 16, it was the time for him to participate in theritual that was going to take him into manhood, this not only mean being circumcised, it also meant large rituals. In the African culture if you dind’t did this rituals yo weren’t able tot inherit hisfather’s wealth, among other things.
In 1839N Mandela started going to University , it was the only residential center of higher learning for blacks in all South Africa, he focoused on a civilcarrer, to obtain the better job that a black man could have, a clerk.
Finishing his firs hear of the university, he became involved in a boycott but the SRC (Student’s Representative Council) (REVISARACA)against the university polices.
