“The beauty and the beast”

There was once a merchant who, before leaving for a long business trip, called his three daughters to ask what they wanted to bring them each a gift
The first called for a brocade dress, the second a pearl necklace and the third, named Bella and was the gentlest, told his father: "I rose cut suffice with your hands." The merchant started and, once finalized itsaffairs, prepared to return when a storm caught him off guard.
The wind was cold and his horse moved wearily. Dead tired and cold, the merchant suddenly saw a flash in the woods. As she approached, he realized it was coming to an illuminated castle. "I hope you can offer me hospitality," he said to himself, hopefully. But as he reached the entrance, he noticed that the door was ajar and, thoughcalled, no one came to meet him. Entered decided and kept calling. In the main room was a table with two candles lit and full of delicious treats ready for dinner. The merchant, after pondering for a while, decided to sit at the table with the hunger that had consumed in a short time a great dinner. Then, still intrigued, went upstairs. On either side of a very long hallway, peeked wonderful halls androoms. In the first of these rooms a fire crackled cheerfully had a soft bed and inviting the rest.
It was late and the merchant was allowed to tempt; fell on the bed and slept soundly. Upon waking in the morning, an unknown hand had placed beside a silver tray with a steaming coffee and fruit. The merchant had breakfast and after a little grooming, fell to thank who had generously hosted. Butlike the previous night, and found no one, shaking his head at such a strange situation, went to the garden to find that he had left his horse tied to a tree, when a beautiful rose bush caught his eye.
He remembered his promise to Bella, and leaning a rose cut. Unexpectedly, in the thick of the rosebush, appeared a hideous beast who was dressed in a beautiful outfit, his voice deep and terriblethreatened:
- Ungrateful! I have given hospitality, you ate at my table and slept in my bed and, in thanks, are you and steal my favorite roses? 'll Kill you for your lack of consideration!
The merchant, terrified, knelt trembling before the beast:

- Forgive me! Spare my life! I'll do anything you ask! The rose was for my daughter Bella, I promised to take her away from my trip!
The beastwithdrew its hapless claw.
'I let you go on the condition that you bring me your daughter.
The merchant, scared, promised to obey and fulfill your order. When the merchant came home crying, he was greeted by his three daughters, but after having told his terrifying adventure, Bella reassured him saying:
- Father, I will do anything for you. Do not worry, you'll keep your promise and thus savelives! Come with me to the castle and stay in your place!
The father hugged his daughter:
I've never doubted your love for me. For now I thank you for saving my life. Hopefully after ...
Thus, Bella came to the castle and the Beast unexpectedly took her: was strangely gentle with her. Bella, who at first had felt fear and horror at the sight of the beast, gradually realized that as time went on, Ifelt less revulsion. He was assigned the nicest room of the castle and the girl spent hours embroidering near fire. The Beast, sitting next to her, watching her in silence for long evenings and, after some time he began to say kind words, until he perceived Bella surprised that every time he preferred his conversation. The days passed and his confidences were increasing, until one day the Beastdared ask Bella to be his wife. Bella, when surprised, had no answer. But did not want to offend someone who had been so kind and above all, he could not forget that it was precisely his sacrifice that saved the life of his father.
