MY RESEARCH PROBLEM AND QUESTION

1. Explain your research problem/concern

After talk with many people and when I Know their attitude about English, I think that the all people interview, in the past, when they was child, they had a Teacher that with his “bad” attitude he caused that his students have a bad attitude about the English.

2. Put your research problem in a researchablequestion.

The bad attitude that the people have nowadays about English depends on the teachers bad attitude in the past?

3. Write down the key concepts in your problem or question that sustain your research.

- Attitudes

- Motivation

- Professional ethics

- Vocation

4. Write down the constitutive definitions of those terms.

Attitude: An attitude is a favorable or unfavorableevaluation of something. Attitudes are generally positive or negative views of a person, place, thing, or event— this is often referred to as the attitude object. People can also be conflicted or ambivalent toward an object, meaning that they simultaneously possess both positive and negative attitudes toward the item in question.
Motivation: is a term that refers to a process that elicits, controls, and sustains certain behaviors. For instance: An individual has not eaten, he or she feels hungry, as a response he or she eats and diminishes feelings of hunger. According to various theories, motivation may be rooted in a basic need to minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure, or it may include specific needs such as eating and resting, or a desired object, goal, state of being, ideal, orit may be attributed to less-apparent reasons such as altruism, selfishness, morality, or avoiding mortality. Conceptually, motivation should not be confused with either volition or optimism.[1] Motivation is related to, but distinct from, emotion.

Professional Ethics: The concept of Professional Ethics is partly comprised of what a professional should or should not do in the work place. Italso encompasses a much greater part of the professional’s life. If a professional is to have ethics then that person needs to adopt that conduct in all of his dealings.

Vocation : is a term for an occupation to which a person is specially drawn or for which he or she is suited, trained, or qualified. Though now often used in non-religious contexts, the meanings of the term originated inChristianity.

5. Write down the operational definitions of those terms.

Attitude: To say that attitudes are the filters through which we perceive reality to say that our attitudes are the map that we used to roam the world and, as Korzybski said in 1941, we must not confuse the map with the territory or our attitudes to reality.

Education on attitudes and values, solidarity and attitude andcooperative learning, become the cornerstones from which we intend to support an educational experience of teaching and learning.

Motivation: Motivation in language learning is essential as it comes to using a language not and do not Their Own dominate and to learn about it. So the first task of the teacher is to make students want to learn. This is really apologetic because each student has apersonality, environment, level of learning and programming will be adapted to each one of them.

Professional Ethics: • Can ethics training/ education be self paced or does it require facilitation and/ or team learning?

Many approaches to ethics training/ education require an external or trained facilitator working with small groups of people. Expertise in the facilitation of professionallearning in small groups and knowledge of ethics is assumed. The distribution of this expertise and knowledge across all school sites is not even. Ethics training conceived as a formal learning program delivered to teachers becomes difficult because of the unavailability of skilled facilitators. It also ignores the ways beginning teachers in particular learn to teach and 'become' teachers.
