“POPAHOLIC”: The pop industry is swallowing you up

“With the music company no one can compete”. Do you agree with this statement? Many experts say that this big enterprise is growing more andmore each year and it is structuring its fortune on the back of famous singers like Katy Perry and Madonna. If you want to be aware of their persuasive techniques keep reading because they are usingartists’ image to invite you to acquire their celebrities’ products and manipulating you to become a “popaholic”. But how do those companies act and why are the reasons for artists and common peoplesubmit pop companies’ wills?

Have you ever watched any commercial that there were not any famous artists or singers? No, you didn’t. Every big company has its own way of getting attention and itcould not be different with the pop company. The only and major difference it’s that they have pop stars celebrities announcing their products every time and everyday and that is enough to call ourattention because fame gets so reachable when a regular person that used to be a regular worker become famous. Everyone wants fame and they’re disposed to do what it’s necessary to reach that goal,even buying celebrities’ products.

We can’t blame celebrities for that; they’re not guilty in some ways. Most of them had signed contracts before becoming famous and if they don’t follow the rulesthere is no fame, in other words they are obligated to obey. Lady Gaga wrote a subjective song called ‘ Bad Romance’ in which she talks about how this enterprise pull you down after you enter it ,how you have to behave to keep your fame alive and what you have to do to get there. However, in another point of view, artists are earning for commercials they make and there is not a better way tokeep their reputation than appearing on TV. increasing their notoriety it’s what matters after becoming famous.

Artists are not angels and so do us, we buy their products because we want....
