Psalm 139 lesson

-Ask a kid to volunteer to read verse 1-4 and then pick another and ask them what these four verses mean

Question-What does itmean?

Answer-God knows everything about you, what you do in the morning and everything will happen in the future. And in everywhere you go God isalready there and in your heart.

Highlight-God is Omniscient which means that he all knowing and knows everything and he is also Omnipresent which meanshe is

-Read verses 7-9 and ask then to name a few places where they think where God is not and then explain that God everywhere.

Highlight- God isOmnipresent (everywhere) and know matter where you go you cannot escape the lords presence.

-Ask kids to volunteer and read verses 11 and 12 andgive an explanation about each of the verses.

Explanation for verse 11- Even if you say “Surely the night will hide me and the light become night aroundme”. It does matter if you say things that are trying to get you away from Jesus, he is in your heart.

Explanation for Verse 12-If you hide in thedark or think that the Lord will not see you. The dark is as light to Jesus and he can see you perfectly.

-Read verse 13 and 14 and give anexplanation on what it means

Explanation- The Lord knows you from the inside out and created you. Jesus knew what paths that you would be taking and what youwould be doing in forty years.

Conclusion-Jesus is Omnipresent and Omniscient which means that he is every where and knows everything in the universe.
